About this app
Source-based review · 2026-10-22 — Feature descriptions below are attributed to the publisher. Our assessment is analysis of public information, not a hands-on test.
The listing for the Fitbit package now presents Google Health, including device syncing, health trends and optional coaching features.
Check the product identity before following an old Fitbit guide
An old app name can conceal a changing account and feature model. Device compatibility and access to existing records matter more than a fresh coaching headline.
Treat continuity as a separate requirement
Someone with years of tracker records may care more about preserving a coherent history than trying new coaching tools. Confirm which account, device and connected service currently holds each type of data. Then inspect a recent day against an older one for continuity. The changed listing identity makes this especially relevant: a guide written for an earlier Fitbit experience should not be assumed to cover the present app.
Privacy & Data Safety
Fitness, sleep and medical records are sensitive. Inspect each connected data source and sharing permission rather than treating a consolidated dashboard as a privacy guarantee.
Checks before you commit
Verify your exact tracker and account on the current listing, then confirm that historical records and preferred integrations remain accessible before changing your setup.
